Bloodstain Pattern Analysis (Blood Spatter)

Bloodstain Pattern Analysis or Blood Spatter Pattern Analysis is the scientific investigation of individual bloodstains and associated patterns resulting from blood in flight and its impact on various surfaces. Blood spatter pattern analysis is a commonly used technique in the reconstruction of violent crime scenes, where the appearance of the blood at the scene is an important factor in the investigation. Blood is a liquid, and as such follows the same basic physical laws as many other liquids. The process of bloodstain pattern investigation involves utilizing scientific method. This must include knowledge of blood components and the physics of liquids in flight.

"Don Schuessler did an outstanding job of blood stain investigation and analysis and provided pointed and reliable testimony in very high profile murder case in San Diego, People v. Richard Tuite. Don came highly recommended and is a person I would not hesitate to recommend for assistance in future cases. I look forward to utilizing Don's skill and expertise in the next case I have."
